I define abstract art as a style of art that does not attempt to represent reality or recognizable subjects. Instead, it focuses on using shapes, colors, lines, and forms to express emotions, ideas, or concepts. Abstract art can vary from non-representational works, which completely remove any trace of recognizable objects, to more abstracted pieces where the elements of the real world are simplified or distorted. I feel it allows for the brain to really just put down on a paper what you are feeling through shapes and colors rather than just sitting there figuring out how to draw a person or a setting that evokes what I am feeling. Abstract is so subjective that anyone can feel what they want to feel when looking at the art. I had fun creating this. I feel it came out really cool. It was low stress and honestly relaxing to create. I would make abstract art again.
