The performance art project was a piece about the words individuals use towards one another.  Centered around the words individuals use toward one another, the performance was aimed to highlight how everyday language can either uplift or harm, depending on its intention and delivery. In the project we invited the audience to engage to write down harmful things that were said and then to apologize. Through body language, tone, and audience reaction, the performance emphasized the emotional weight that even the simplest phrases can carry. Inspired by the characteristics of performance art, the project was ephemeral, interactive, and emotionally charged, creating a space where viewers became part of the experience. In doing so, the work challenged participants to reflect on their own speech and behavior, making it an example of how art for the mind can prompt deeper social awareness and personal reflection.
